Every cloud has a silver lining

rezian-na

It is a short phrase with a lot of meaning, encouraging us to look for the bright side to life’s disappointments and disasters There is something good in every bad situation Blessings that come after pain, hardship and tragedy are more precious to people. The benefit of pain, hardship and tragedy is to rescues man from negligence and alerts him for his shortcomings in keeping his duty to Allah so that he does not think that he is perfect, which would lead to hardening of his heart and carelessness.

Life can indeed be tough and may be filled with disappointments. It is the manner in which the way we handle such disappointments is actually the test of our character and faith

Al-Hasan al-Basri quoted: “Do not hate the trials that happen or the tragedies that happen to you, for they may be something that you hatred but it leads to your deliverance, and there may be something that you love, but it leads to your doom.”

So whether we are immersed in tragedy or simply worried by the minor annoyances of daily life, we should always strive to make the best of every circumstance and remember that life’s trials are an essential part of developing a good Muslim personality.

Or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, ‘When (will come) the Help of Allah?’ Yes! Certainly, the Help of Allah is near!”

[al-Baqarah 2:214].

Every cloud has a silver lining!
After long nights, comes the bright sun!
Life will soon give you a smile!
So be ready to get it
